Our week in review in pictures...

We have been busy kindergarteners and we are learning new things everyday!  We have learned about 4 out of the 5 Daily 5 activities.  The new one that we learned this week is called Read to Buddy.  The kids really enjoyed sitting right next to their buddies and enjoying a story with them.  Here is some pictures to give you a better idea of what we have been up to!  Enjoy!

Everyday Math Online Games- Student Login Information

Today your child will be bringing home their Everyday Math Student Login Cards home.  They have been learning about the online games that our current math program offers.  These games offer extra practice for your children and I recommend using these games.  Today they learned how to login to their account.  We will  be using this site in school and they know they can play at home too.  Here is some information about how to login!  I hope you enjoy this great site! Our Kindergarten Hopes and Dreams

Even in Kindergarten it is important to talk about what we hope to learn or do during our Kindergarten year.  Although this is a tough concept for 5 year olds to understand, the kiddos did a really nice job telling me what they would like to accomplish or learn by the end of the year.  We will revisit these hopes and dreams in January to see if our thoughts have changed.  Here is the video of the kids reciting their Hopes and Dreams for Kindergarten.  Enjoy!
